League Plans Events, Lawmaker Meetings for GAC; Sign Up Now!

We’re looking forward to seeing many of you in Washington, D.C. for the GAC! This morning, we emailed registered attendees with details on the League’s scheduled events and our “Hike The Hill” meetings with lawmakers.

We have a few asks:

  • Please register for the March 4 Legislative Reception. While it’s free to attend, your registration will aid us in planning the event.
  • We have “Hike The Hill” meetings scheduled with lawmakers or their key staff members on March 6 and 7. Please let us know of any meetings you want to attend. A schedule of confirmed meetings is available here, with more meetings in the works!
  • Support our upcoming advocacy efforts in Washington by emailing lawmakers in opposition to the Credit Card Competition Act! You can easily do so here. Please encourage your co-workers, volunteer officials and members to do the same.
  • Note: You don’t need to be registered for the GAC to participate in our League events, including the “Hike The Hill” lawmaker meetings. Feel free to register for the Legislative Reception and contact CeJae Vtipilson if you want to attend a meeting with your lawmakers.

League Launches Cybersecurity-IT Forum

Based on your feedback, your League has launched a community-driven Forum to facilitate discussion of cybersecurity and information technology issues. Your League will post helpful resources and alerts from time to time, but this Forum is for users to make their own space to pursue peer-driven education, knowledge sharing, and discussion. In recognition of the fact that cybersecurity and IT are enterprise-wide endeavors at our credit unions, we’ve opened the forum to any registered user of our website in an effort to ensure as many users as possible can take advantage of this resource.

View the Forum here

You must be logged into our website to view posts or start new threads. Register here for an account. As we work to build this community-driven Forum, we’ll highlight new posts on our communication channels to ensure timely notification, but we encourage you to bookmark the Forum for quick reference.
