Education Credit Union Council Launches New Program to Support Smaller Credit Unions

ECU

The Education Credit Union Council (ECUC) is excited to announce the launch of a new program designed to support smaller credit unions across the nation. The ECUC Small Credit Union Fund aims to provide opportunities for credit unions with assets under $100 million to attend the annual ECUC conference.

“The annual ECUC conference provides a unique opportunity for education-based credit unions of all sizes to collaborate and learn. We don’t want the conference cost to prevent a small credit union from attending”, said Andy Grimm, President of the ECUC Board of Directors.

The ECUC Small Credit Union Fund is made possible through donations from larger credit unions, corporate partners, and individuals. Contributions will be used to award conference registrations to qualifying credit unions. There are two ways to support the program:

  • Donate: Individuals and organizations can make one-time donations of any amount.
  • Adopt a Credit Union: Donors can sponsor a specific credit union to attend the conference by paying their full registration fee of $995.

Smaller credit unions interested in applying for a conference registration should submit an email request to KarenMyer@ecuc.org.
