Experience in Financial Services

Stephen’s financial career began in 1997 as a part-time teller, eventually expanding into various roles within both banks and credit unions. His journey through these different areas has given him a well-rounded view of the industry. Stephen has handled everything from customer service at the teller window to complex regulatory compliance and risk management.

Advocating for Credit Unions

Stephen joined the Virginia Credit Union League earlier this year, driven by his commitment to the credit union mission of prioritizing members and community service. He is focused on bringing this member-first philosophy into every aspect of his work.
