Virginia-Based CUs Make Newsweek's List of Best FIs for 2024

Three Virginia-based credit unions have made Newsweek's list of best credit unions and regional banks for 2024: Central Virginia Federal Credit Union, DuPont Community Credit Union and Virginia Credit Union. League associate member Eastman Credit Union, based in Tennessee, also made the list.

Regional banks and credit unions play a pivotal role in the financial fabric of communities nationwide, notes the Newseweek article. "Unlike their larger counterparts, these institutions are deeply rooted in local economies, understanding the unique needs of the people they serve."
