Local Communities
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals & Victory Junction

Furthermore, during Vizo Financial’s Day of Service on October 9, 81 employees supported 14 organizations that serve the local communities of Vizo Financial staff.
“2023 was quite a year for our organization’s community involvement efforts,” said Erin Doan, Vizo Financial’s diversity, equity and inclusion director. “Our employees served multiple organizations throughout our local communities, but, as a Corporate, we were able to reach national and international communities as well.”
Nationally
In response to the wildfires that swept the Hawaiian island of Maui in August, Vizo Financial donated $10,000 to the National Credit Union Foundation’s CUAid disaster relief fund to help credit unions and their employees.
Internationally
In February, Turkey experienced two devastating earthquakes. In response to this, Vizo Financial donated $20,000 to the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions’ Turkish Cooperative Earthquake Relief Fund, which was launched to support Turkey’s cooperative system during this difficult time.
“From serving our usual organizations like Victory Junction and CMN Hospitals to supporting Maui and Turkey during their times of need, I’m extremely proud of all that we accomplished through our community initiatives this year,” said David Brehmer, president/CEO of Vizo Financial. “Our employees really embodied the movement’s ‘people helping people’ philosophy all throughout 2023. It was a really great year, and I’m truly grateful to end my career in the credit union industry working alongside so many people who wholeheartedly believe in serving others.”
