CUs, League Host Sen. Mark Warner at Capitol Hill Reception

Virginia's credit unions and your League hosted Sen. Mark Warner tonight at a reception on Capitol Hill. Other members of our Congressional Delegation are also expected to attend.

Warner is a senior member of the Senate Banking Committee, chairing its National Security and International Trade and Finance Subcommittee and serving on the Financial Institutions and Consumer Protection subcommittee.

The League and Virginia's credit unions have an excellent relationship with the senator, and our support of his campaigns dates back two decades to his successful run for Virginia governor in 2001.

As part of our advocacy initiatives at GAC, your League has scheduled meetings with the offices of every member of our Congressional delegation.
