PenFed's Schenck Among Speakers at NCUA Capital Markets Symposium
PenFed President/CEO James Schenck was among the speakers at today's Capital Markets Symposium, hosted In New York City by National Credit Union Board member Rodney Hood.
Schenck participated in a panel discussion on balance sheet management tools, including asset securitization, loan participations and pools, and subordinated debt.
This half-day hybrid event has brought together professionals from credit unions and other stakeholders in the financial services industry to discuss:
- Managing liquidity risks;
- Utilizing derivatives contracts and interest rate swaps;
- Accessing the capital markets for asset securitizations; and
- Using subordinated debt and secondary capital strategically.
The event is headlined by Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Rostin Behnam, Federal Home Loan Bank of New York President José González, and Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta President Kirk Malmberg.
