Duties:

InFirst Federal Credit Union (InFirst) has provided financial services to members for more than 89 years and is named one of the best credit unions to work for. InFirst is seeking a Market Manager. The right candidate will float to our OPM Branch in Washington, DC (Office of Personnel Management) when needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating, implementing, and managing programs to build relationships and grow business in the community.
  • Responding to questions and/or provide information upon request from members and potential members.
  • Processing requests and transactions as appropriate.
  • Assisting members and potential members in understanding and utilizing credit union products and services.

If you have three to five years of similar or related experience, we want you to join our team. The right candidate must have the ability provide excellent member experience, resolve problems, and work well under pressure. Hours include daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements:

Education and Skills Experience

Education: (1) A bachelor’s degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills: Motivating or influencing others is a material part of the job. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. The role requires a significant level of trust or diplomacy.

Other Skills: Must have good communication skills.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and transport boxes, brochures, etc. from one location to another. Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, etc. Travel required.

Work Environment: Working in an office environment with additional team members. Works onsite at other businesses, city venues. Travel is required.
