Duties:

Call Federal Credit Union is seeking a Director of Accounting and Finance. The Director of Accounting and Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial management and accounting functions of the credit union. This includes managing financial reporting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, investment portfolio management, asset liability management and ensuring the credit union’s financial health. The role involves leading a team of accounting professionals, implementing best practices, and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a credit union, banking, or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Skills and Abilities:

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with credit union core systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to various audiences.
• Acceptable background check; credit, criminal and insurance
